We develop innovative nanostructured membranes with tailored morphological and physico-chemical properties and/or molecular recognition properties for the selective separation – in solid phase (in the form of crystalline or amorphous precipitate) – of biomolecules, including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (polymorphs selection, separation of enantiomers), proteins, mAbs.

We manufacture membranes in flat-sheet or capillary/hollow-fiber configuration, and assembled in modules for high versatility, continuous operation and easy scale-up.


Team members with more than 20 years of well recognized expertise in membrane engineering, and coordination/participation in international projects (FP7, H2020 programs).

About 500 m2 of laboratories footprint at the Department of Environmental Engineering at the University of Calabria, and access to research facilities present in the University Campus.
